Job Title:
Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

Location:
Slough

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Schedule:
Monday through Friday

Hourly Rate:
£13.00

Responsibilities:

Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with company protocols and safety standards
Handle the loading and unloading of materials from various storage areas such as trucks, pallets, and racks
Transport materials to and from assigned locations within the warehouse or production facility
Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functionality
Maintain accurate documentation of material movements in adherence to inventory control procedure
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and meet deadlines
Uphold cleanliness and organisation standards in the work environment.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience as a forklift operator, specialising in counterbalance forklifts.
Possession of a valid certification or license to operate counterbalance forklifts.
Proficient understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.
Strong attention to detail and precision in completing tasks. Effective communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team setting.
