Prospectus is excited to be supporting Birkbeck, University of London with their search for a Philanthropy Officer.


The Philanthropy Officer will join Birkbeck at an important moment in their history as the College commemorates its 200th Anniversary and enters the final stages of The World Needs More Birkbeck (TWNMB) campaign.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Birkbeck at a significant moment, helping to ensure that education is available to everyone, regardless of their social background or age.

This a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract with hybrid working in London. The salary for this position is £37,143 to £42,365 per annum depending on experience.


The Philanthropy Officer will be responsible for prioritising the building, and advancement of relationships and giving with alumni, prospects, and donors to solicit single annual philanthropic gifts of £10,000+.

They will manage a blended portfolio of around 120 relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporates, at all stages of engagement to raise the funds needed to support the College's future ambitions.
