Morgan's Securitized Product Group business originates, underwrites, places and makes markets in asset and mortgage-backed securities including residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities.

It also acts as an administrator of asset-backed commercial paper conduits and finances and trades in residential mortgage loans, auto loans, student loans and other consumer-related loans and receivables, commercial real estate loans, charged-off consumer receivables, interests in affordable housing, renewable energy projects and assets which are leased to third parties, such as aircrafts, railcars and power plants.


The SPG business management team provide support to the Business through driving the execution and implementation of the business strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Development and oversight of performance metrics for the business, including financial, pipeline, expenses
  • Preparation of business performance presentations/reviews
  • Management of financial / pipeline data and review of underlying information on a periodic basis, in collaboration with functional partners
  • Assist in key business/strategic, NBIA/Change management projects, regulatory, and governance priorities for the franchise
  • Build product knowledge and awareness of business and industry developments / requirements
  • Support regionwide initiatives and represent the SPG business in regional and global BM meetings

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skill:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • Previous experience in Finance industry
  • Proactive and problem solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multitask
  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated and effective under pressure
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work well independently and partner effectively
  • Highly motivated selfstarter, able to prioritize key tasks effectively
  • Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls with a view to improve
  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint
