2 Sisters Food Group are recruiting for an experienced Process Technologist to support our Pizza site in Nottingham.

About the Role:

Reporting into the Process Manager, the Process Technologist will be key in supporting the launch of new products onto the market and ensuring these products are in line with our customers expectations and internal policies.

As a Process Technologist you will organise and execute trials and testing on new products and review current policies and procedures to identify areas of improvement.

This is a key role that will work closely with the NPD and Operational teams, offering exposure to all areas of the business and opportunities to develop your skills further.

Key Duties will Include:

Creation and development of critical pathways
Organising and executing factory trials reporting results to key stakeholders
Ensuring all launched products are safe and in line with customer standards
Performing organoleptic, micro and nutritional testing
Completing internal process specifications for new products
Supporting with customer attended trial days and preproduction
Participating in testing of new equipment with the operations teams
Completing artwork checks
Supporting with packaging trials
Assisting in the completion of customer specifications

This will be a diverse and rewarding position that will play a key part in supporting several exciting new projects.

About You:

To excel in this Process Technologist role, you will need to demonstrate a proven background in a similar role within Food Manufacturing.

Experience within a chilled food manufacturing environment will be essential, as will strong communication and technical skills. Exposure to supplying major multiple supermarkets will also be useful.

This is a fast paced and rewarding role that will require strong organisation skills, the ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and a thorough and analytical approach to work.
