Warehouse Operative

Location:
TF1, Telford

Salary:
£ £14.48 per hour

Shifts:
Days, Afternoons, and Rotating Shifts Available


As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods within the warehouse facility.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to maintain the smooth flow of operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Goods Handling: Safely and accurately receive, pick, pack, and dispatch goods according to company standards and procedures.

Quality Control: Inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Order Fulfilment: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are packed securely and labelled correctly for delivery.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, contributing to overall warehouse cleanliness and tidiness.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required.

Salary:
£11.44-£14.48 per hour
