MIDLANDS/SOUTH YORKSHIRE - Remote role with some days spent in the Midlands Office each month

Growing successful unique concept restaurant company is looking for an experienced Brand Excellence Auditor with responsibility for driving improvement in brand standards across around 50 operations across the UK.


With restaurants throughout the UK & a number of new sites earmarked to open this year with further plans to grow internationally, the company have a unique quality offering that has meant continued success.

Each operation is refurbished to a high standard & with a truly unique, high quality offering.


The role will report directly to the Compliance & Audit Manager doing the audits and then reporting all results back.

The role will also involve spending occasional days a month in the company's Midlands' Head Office.


The Role:


We are looking for a highly organised individual who can build relationships with both restaurant managers and franchisees to drive improvement within the business.


The Brand Excellence Auditor supports and coaches store teams and above store teams to deliver exceptional brand standards whilst identifying potential performance and implementation gaps.


As a Brand Excellence Auditor, you will be required to travel extensively across the franchise estate, carrying out audits, in line with our company policy.

You will have a good eye for detail alongside excellent written and verbal skills, producing reports to the required company standard.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver operational and brand compliance audits across all UK sites to an agreed schedule.
  • Support franchisees and store managers to deliver operational excellence in store.
  • Support the business and franchisees by motivating, engaging and supporting the instore teams, whilst onsite, to drive performance of standards.
  • Support the business by ensuring you lead by example and represent the brand values in how you work and conduct yourself.
  • Always operate with a fair, reasonable and consistent approach, following all company and legal procedures.
  • Always engage franchisees, managers and team members courteously and communicate clearly.
  • Be kind to our customers, franchisees, and employees; meet or exceed their expectations for professional conduct.
  • Support the Franchisees' store employees to ensure all members of the team follow Health and Safety, COSHH and Food Hygiene regulations at all times as detailed in the company Store Operations Manual.
  • Ensure daily HACCP procedures are completed, checked and recorded.
  • Report any maintenance issues promptly to the Franchisee and any critical, brand damaging, pest or Health & Safety issues immediately so the franchisee can action them promptly.
  • Coach and correct on shift where any critical standards are not being delivered to our brand expectations and address the root cause of any problem.
  • Identify issues that may cause risk to the team or customers.
  • Work closely with the compliance manager to identify and improve operational, legislative and brand compliance.
  • Collaborate with the compliance manager to provide the operations team with a monthly/quarterly compliance overview report of the estate.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience at management level within the branded restaurant sector however this is not essential, as full training will be given. We are happy to consider a current Deputy/Assistant Manager working within the hospitality sector.
  • A handson operational leader, with a passion for coaching
  • A brand ambassador who ensures great attention to brand standards
  • An ambitious character who wants to be part of our growth journey
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and execute with pace.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of working in a restaurants alongside experience of conducting audits,
  • Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous.
  • Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
  • Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent

Salary package:
The starting salary for this role is up to around £30,000.

The role comes with a company car & any further afield travelling around the estate can be done by train & all travel expenses will be covered.
