Autism Specialist - Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth

Do you understand Autism Spectrum Condition and love to work with children?


Remedy Education work with a SEN school in Wandsworth who are in need of a Teaching Assistant to support a small class of children with their learning needs.

The class have multiple special educational needs, predominantly autism which can be very challenging.


As a Teaching Assistant you will work Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm however the role can also be available on a part time or day to day basis.


Your role is to work within the classroom, managing behaviour, helping to deliver the curriculum, ensuring the students are involved and assisting with any other needs which may arise.

You will be expected to handle any personal care needs and ensure youhave the well being of the students in mind at all times.

  • ASAP or January 2023
- £80-90 a day - depending on experience

  • Based in school in a Wandsworth


Having a good knowledge of SEN in general but mainly Autism is beneficial, and a non judgemental and enthusiastic attitude would suit the learning environment.


Please be aware it is essential to have an enhanced, child only DBS which is registered to the update service.
