Your new role:

What you'll do:


  • Liaising with the school and community groups in relation to the use of the facility
  • Dealing with third party (Extended/Community users) enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the building especially in the changing rooms, pools, sports hall and gymnasium including cubicles, showers and toilets
  • Liaising with the caretaker about the use of the facility and any equipment
  • Ensuring all operations are carried out as detailed within operating procedures and appropriate Health and Safety regulations

What you'll need:


  • Customer service experience
  • Flexibility, as the post holder may be called upon to help in other areas around the school
  • Keen interest in sport and leisure
  • First aid at work qualification
  • Experience of work at a gymnasium/sports hall or other leisure environment

Who we're looking for:

The role requires a confident, outgoing, well organised and results focused individual with a desire to achieve.

Ideally with knowledge of the construction sector and with a background in either a community-based role and/or with experience in Training and Development to support, implement and deliver a variety of opportunities.

Proactively building positive relationships in the community, supporting and creating opportunities to deliver a lasting legacy and driving delivery of community focused objectives through partnership working to deliver added value.

Coordinating Community Impact based targets to create a positive lasting impact on communities we are working in whether it's investing locally in talent and skills, or working with our customers, suppliers and partners to support the local and national economy.
