Preston College is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join its busy HR Team to cover a maternity leave until approximately January 2024 as a Human Resources Assistant Adviser.
As an HR Team we take great pride in supporting our staff to enable all of our learners to achieve the qualifications they need for their next step.

You will play a vital role administering the HR tasks required to deliver the people component of the College strategic plan.
You will help drive our College performance by providing a busy recruitment service, finding the best recruits in teaching and support services; accurately inputting data into our integrated HR system and extracting reports for management information and KPIs; together with providing HR advice and guidance to both managers and staff on our terms and conditions of service.
You will be assigned a number of key projects around the development of our HR systems, update of our HR templates and forms; people metrics including data collection and the implementation of updated employment terms and conditions.

Salary:
JFG 5 (SCP 16 to 20) £21,698 to £24,127 per annum rising to £23,195 to 24,610 per annum from 1 April 2023
Hours: 37 hours per week (1.0FTE)

You will be passionate about HR, ideally you will have experience of working in a busy HR or training team and be able to quickly adapt in your new role in this fast-paced, complex HR Office environment.
