Description

Recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with a KS1 student 1-1 from overseas with
Social, Emotional and Learning Needs at a Hornchurch School.

To start as soon as possible
Monday to Friday - 8.15am - 3.30pm (Term time only with additional holiday pay)


Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Learning Needs.
  • Motivated to make a positive difference in the students learning and development and social skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of the needs of students that are disengaged with education.
  • To liaise with the Teacher and Senco in monitoring the students' progress.
  • Qualified with a relevant Teaching Assistant certification and/or SEND care qualification.
  • Ideally have good knowledge and an understanding of Social, Emotional and Learning needs.
