About the Role:


As an IT Solutions Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in their tight-knit team, providing comprehensive IT support that ranges from addressing Level 1 helpdesk queries to administering Level 3 onsite/server/network systems.

You will serve as a key senior point of escalation for technical issues, offering solutions during client interactions via phone, video, and in-person meetings.

Further, you will assist with troubleshooting requirements raised by junior members of the service delivery team, offering your expertise and guidance.


Your responsibilities also encompass managing service tickets, liaising with clients, and ensuring the smooth and optimal day-to-day operations of client IT functions.

As a part of our proactive approach, you'll find the helpdesk is generally quiet, leaving you ample time to focus on continuously improving client or internal systems behind the scenes.


Moreover, you'll be actively involved in the delivery of IT projects, ranging from Service Desk to change projects encompassing physical, virtual, and software aspects.

Required experience:


  • Minimum 5 years IT experience
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Services administration (365, Azure, Entra, Autopilot, Intune)
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server/Active Directory, TCP/IP and Networking
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Office 365 tenancy setup and deployment
  • Prior experience with Automating procedures/systems
  • Prior work with Ticket systems, RMM and monitoring tools, and IT Documentation software
  • A solid understanding of current IT security fundamentals and ITIL principles
  • Experience in server, storage and desktop design, and administration (Cloud and physical)
  • Extensive Knowledge of M365 Suite of Products, such as; Exchange Online, Office 365 (Word/PowerPoint/Excel/OneNote), MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, MDM/Intune
  • Basic understanding and experience with setting up and maintaining infrastructure devices such as switches/routers/firewalls
  • Server 2012present

Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive IT support, ranging from handling service tickets to technical decisionmaking on projects
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their IT requirements are met
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of our IT infrastructure
  • Support the implementation of new technologies beneficial to client businesses

Up to £35,000.00 per year
