Description
Our client, based in Northamptonshire, are currently looking to recruit a full-time project manager to join their team.

They are seeking somebody who has worked as a PM in a logistics/warehousing/transport environment who can lead multiple projects.

The role is likely to be for several months, potentially longer, and will start in January.


The role specification includes:


  • Drive, lead and manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept through to delivery, using the department methodology, encouraging strong crossfunctional teamwork and collaboration.
  • Manage the ongoing delivery of all aspects of projects including risk mitigation and issue management; timescales and budgets and ensure the work is well programmed and ontrack to deliver the desired benefits.
  • Prioritise, lead and review projects with a strong commercial lens, ensuring the expected output meets the overall business objectives and aligned to our strong values.
  • Balance conflicting demands and priorities to achieve objectives.
  • Influence and engage with key stakeholders, ensuring the project team, the division and the wider organisation has a thorough understanding of the change through effective communication.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor the change process.
  • Manage the reporting at Steering Groups.

Required Experience:


  • A track record of successfully managing E2E projects and initiatives with strong planning and change management experience.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, fast paced operational or logistics environment.
  • Project Management qualification is preferable (Prince2 / Agile etc.)
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools for both large and smallscale change efforts.
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio.
  • An understanding of budgeting, forecasting and operational costs.
  • A keen eye for detail and maintains a clear focus and sees actions through to delivery
  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to work in and navigate through ambiguous situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal including developing and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Enthusiastic, strong influencer with exceptional interpersonal skills even under pressure.
  • Highly organised and decisive with good prioritisation skills to balance key priorities.
  • A real team player, who rolls up their sleeves and can take in ideas and views from all levels.
  • Ability to understand complex concepts and translate into practical solutions
