Office based in Oxford, ability to travel locally to Milton Keynes or London on occasion.

Due to continuing success and the growth of our business in the UK, we are now looking for a Security Controller to join our team based at our idyllic headquarters' offices in the grounds of Blenheim Palace - Oxford.


  • This is a new role supporting the private sector deliver defence and security construction consultancy contracts. Key aspects of the role will be to develop and maintain the security management system across the contracts.

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintenance of all security procedures Sy Ops, ensuring their effectiveness within the business, including on the contracts the business is delivering.
  • Take ownership and control of the asset register.
  • Monitor any changes to facility/company and update security policies accordingly.
  • Develop and carry out training for staff with regards to security policies.
  • Reports to the Secure Projects Lead. Good commercial attitude and ability to work within a clear regulatory framework.
  • Undertake weekly, monthly, 6monthly, and annual security audits as required for accreditation purposes.
  • Develop security management plans for live contracts.
  • Act as a point of contact for security related matters which feed into project bids and submissions.
  • Develop existing processes around security, ensure compliance is being met in agreement with the secure projects lead.
  • When required, courier documentation to clients or contractors within the UK.
  • Maintain and enhance existing relationships with contractors and clients.

Experience and Skills Required:


  • Experience of working with protectively marked information at the highest level / GDPR / GPMS etc.
  • Exceptionally strong record keeping, attention to detail, interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills link between inhouse IT department, Systems Team, and our IT platform.
  • Manual skills important. There will be a need to undertake some light, technical manual work which will include maintaining and administering locks. Training provided.
  • Ability to work flexibly to the demands of the business as needed. Client first attitude
