Activities Director


Duties:


  • Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and events for residents in a care facility.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities align with the needs and interests of residents.
  • Create a monthly calendar of activities and distribute it to residents and their families.
  • Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings.
  • Provide individualized attention to residents who may require additional support or have specific needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and feedback for each activity.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed to enhance resident engagement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Strong organizational abilities to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing engaging programs that cater to a diverse range of interests and abilities.
  • Compassion and patience when working with residents who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
  • Ability to adapt activities to meet the changing needs of residents.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
