OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE**Reporting to as well as working closely alongside the Head of People & Culture and Chief People Officer, you will assist with and lead on a wide range of tasks and projects including employee relations, employee experience, performance, employee retention, diversity and wellbeing. As well as acting as a Business Partner across various global regions you would also coach and mentor team members as required.
KEY TASKS WILL INCLUDE
- Drafting and managing HR related documents such as policies, employee guides, change of terms letters, performance plans, career plans etc.
- Conducting exits interviews to ensure people experience is maximised
- Consulting with line management, providing HR guidance when and where appropriate
- Resolving complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Identifying training needs for departments and undertake skillsgap analysis, working with department heads on building a career framework and improving performance management
- Help analyse the results of surveys and supporting the line managers to create action plans
- Supporting the CPO with performance review, bonus reviews, pay reviews, people strategy and other adhoc tasks
- Mentor less experienced members of the people team
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretations
- Regularly review and update policy and culture books
- Support the People & Culture Team in arranging social events
THE CANDIDATE
This exciting opportunity will suit a highly responsible and motivated HR professional, CIPD qualified ideally to minimum Level 5 with strong generalist experience and thorough up to date knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, performance management, wellbeing and culture, and respective employment laws.
KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Generalist HR experience within a small to medium sized business (previous demonstrable experience of working at HR Advisor level)
- Experience of working in a scaleup, startup or SMB environment is really important.
- Excellent time management skills, proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure when needed
- Key experience of working with and advising line managers
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop relationships across the business
- Results focused with a real drive to achieve
- Practically minded; able to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience of using HRIS software
