**Care Assistant

Team Lead (night duty)**
Balloo House is a 30 bed residential care home caring for the frail/elderly over 65s. Balloo is a family run private home situated on the outskirts of Bangor

Balloo has an opening for a care assistant team lead for night duty, part time hours between 24 hours-30 hours per week with a weekend on weekend off rota.

Night duty hours 8pm-8am awake.

Responsibilities to include:

Night medication rounds and early morning medication round

Hourly checks:

Fire safety:

Delegation of staff during the shift

Contacting the OOHGP/ambulance if required, assessing residents medical needs throughout the night

Completing daily notes:

Signing over of controlled drugs to day staff and handing over to the person in charge the following morning

Personal care tasks

Medication trained or be willing to learn medication system

One year care experience:

- **Six months

12 months experience in a supervisory role or lead role.**:
Clear Access NI checks

Desirable but not essential Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care.
