About The Service

The Money Advice Team is a welfare and benefits team that sees approximately 1500 people a month identifying financial support, grants and discounts and dealing with debt.

The Team is expanding due to the demand and the essential need of people visiting the 20+ locations a week that the team are committed to attending.

What We Are Looking For From You
Welfare Benefits and Income Maximisation

Council Tax and Council Tax Reduction

Disability Benefits and appeals

Grants, Discounts, Cost of Living Support and schemes associated with the support of those on low/irregular income

Referrals and signposting

Additional information
This is a full time permanent post.

The ability to speak other languages in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

Evening and weekend working will be required on a rota basis.
