Job Summary

We are seeking a Scientific Associate to join our immunology, bioanalysis & Biomarkers department. The role will be based at or Riccarton site, Edinburgh.


The team consists of a dynamic group of approximately 70 researchers that support our clients as they endeavor to bring novel treatments covering a wide range of therapeutic areas to patients.

This multifunctional team ensures that clients are provided with accurate and reliable data to satisfy the regulatory expectations associated with bring new treatments to the market.

This is accomplished using a wide variety of scientific techniques.


As part of the team, the successful applicant will be involved in the conduct of a wide range of QPCR/ddPCR studies designed to support (pre)clinical studies.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the processing of samples, operation of state-of-the-art analytical equipment, and the recording and reporting of data.


  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Interest in working with sophisticated laboratory equipment
  • Understanding of core laboratory skills and techniques
  • Ability to perform well and thrive in a highpressure environment
  • Basic understanding of GLP and GCP
Salary for this role is £26,244.91 and closes 19 July 2023.
