Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair underground pipelines according to blueprints and specifications
Dig trenches using hand tools or heavy machinery
Lay pipes and connect them using welding or mechanical methods
Inspect pipelines for leaks or damages and perform necessary repairs
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure proper installation and alignment of pipelines
Operate equipment such as excavators or backhoes to assist with pipeline installation
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
Ability to weld pipes together using various welding techniques
Basic electrical knowledge for connecting pipeline components
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing pipeline systems
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging and lifting heavy materials

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role is preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:
£18.00-£21.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 45 per week
