Description

We are looking for passionate individuals, who have a keen interest in our patient groups; the cross site department has recently returned to maintaining diagnostic targets for lung function and sleep investigations and is proud of this significant achievement and plans are now being developed to deliver sleep and respiratory care in more novel ways to patients in the surrounding community.

In addition to the brief list above you must familiarise yourself with the full job description and person specification attached to this advert prior to applying.

For interested applicants we can provide the opportunity to develop within the team and become involved in training.

Our lung function services are busy dynamic services spread across two main acute hospital sites; compromising Nottingham University Hospitals.

The trust supports over 12,000 patients receiving therapy for sleep apnea and also more specific ventilation support for other patient groups.

Under normal circumstances we perform more than 2,000 lung function investigations per year. You will be joining established teams within NUH who have recently become aligned under new leadership.

Please refer to the job description and person specification attached to the advert for the full details of the vacancy.

You will possess a good BSc in Physiology or the equivalent and have or are willing to gain the ARTP practitioner qualifications in lung function and sleep.

Your skills will be most useful in performing lung function lists, with exposure to bronchial challenge testing, cardio pulmonary exercise testing, sleep diagnostics, initiation of treatment including follow up review of therapy.
