Job Description:


Our client, a multifaceted large dynamic organisation are looking for a Systems Support Specialist to provide high quality support to finance teams in use of SAP.

Working within the SAP Finance Support team, the role is to focus on providing high quality support to the
Finance teams in their use of SAP by being first level support for BAU & supporting the implementation of
changes.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide advice and guidance to business users on all aspects of SAP FI and sub-modules
  • Progress system/process faults identified, to a timely resolution
  • Support system testing in all stages from SIT to E2E
  • Undertake master data and data integrity reconciliation and reviews
  • Work with the business and IT communities in identifying and supporting the implementation of process
improvements and system enhancements

  • Provide project finance work-stream resource at the initial design, blueprinting and realisation stages
and support the transition to BAU following 'go live'

  • Carry out month end accruals, reporting and submissions

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
Experience gained in an insurance or similar working environment
Excellent Excel skills
Highly numerate with good communication skills, both verbal and written with strong report writing skills
Experience of providing SAP support to finance and business users
SAP FI experience a must

Education and Qualifications:
ACCA / CIMA
Part qualified or qualified by experience with basic knowledge of SAP modules & an awareness of
business processes.

and non-financial staff.
