Open-Ended Contract: Permanent

  • Full time: 35 hours per week

The Bayes Centre is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide professional and confidential administrative support to the Senior Management team, allowing them to focus on strategic objectives and priorities.

The Bayes Centre serves as the University of Edinburgh's hub for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, engaging in various activities ranging from education to business relationships. The Bayes Centre hosts a wide range of academic, research, and industry professionals, contributing to the University's Data-Driven Innovation Programme.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualifications in Administration or PA Diploma, combined with relevant experience, OR extensive experience in similar roles.
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders, preferably in a Personal/Executive Assistant or Business Manager capacity.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, along with impeccable attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships, and experience in independent problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with AV and smart technology.
