Our Client is a Chartered firm of Independent Financial Advisers, based in Birmingham. Being 'Independent' means that they can offer advice from the whole range of products available.


They offer advice on all aspects of financial planning, including life cover; pensions and retirement planning; investments and savings and Inheritance Tax Planning.

They have been awarded the prestigious title of Chartered Financial Planners.


What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include:

  • Processing and chasing through all new business.
  • Providing updates on ongoing cases to both their team and the client.
  • Be able to gather relevant information for the client reviews from the various Platform providers and produce client annual review reports and prereview paperwork.
  • Processing fund switches.
  • Processing and managing income requirements for clients.
  • Ensuring that the backoffice system (Intelligent Office) is always updated.
  • Assisting the Paraplanner(s) by gathering any other information required to assist in the advice process, including obtaining policy information of existing contracts and pension projections.

What is Needed to Be Considered For This Role:

  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to stay focused under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Team player.
  • Solutions orientated.
  • Previous experience of working within an IFA environment, with a good knowledge of retail investment products.
  • Good PC skills including word and excel.
  • Experience of Intelligent Office (IO) backoffice system.
  • Experience with Dynamic Planning review software.
  • Experience with various Platform providers, including Abrdn/Standard Life; AJ Bell and Elevate

Job Types:

Up to £25,000.00 per year
