This role would suit somebody who has worked within a commercial finance with some experience in costing's or pricing.

Estimator

  • Ascertain client and project scope and requirements, so that accurate costings can be prepared
  • Determine key variables and list all assumptions, so thatrisk/ exposure is mitigated
  • Interrogate Client needs, capture requirements and ensure estimates proposed back to the Client are accurate and represent the needs
  • Application of margins to an agreed signoff process
  • Interpretation and collection of all related costs, to enable an estimate to be prepared Support to Contracts Manager
  • To support and assist the Contract Manager in the preparation of Contracts, by issuing Test costs to an agreed timeline
  • Help Contracts manager to fine tune and improve accuracy of catalogue of standard prices
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates for standard projects
