We're currently hiring for a full-time
General Assistant - Recycling Operative at our
Birmingham Depot.

The position is a key support in the depot, making sure we are recycling cardboard, shrink wrap & anything else wherever possible within a fast-paced cash and carry environment.

You will take ownership to ensure that the presentation and general housekeeping of the depot are maintained to a high standard and that we are following company recycling processes by collecting wastage and processing it through various recycling machinery within the depot so that it can be collected and re-used.

What will you be doing as a recycling operative?

Collecting cages filled with cardboard and shrink wrap to ensure the shop floor is kept tidy and colleagues have enough cages to deposit packaging in.
Processing recyclable materials through various machinery ensuring health & safety processes are followed at all times.
General housekeeping
Supporting other departments as required
