Job description

The highly successful Student Recruitment Team within Future Students is seeking to appoint a Senior Student Recruitment Officer to lead and deliver its activity with schools and colleges, and the University's Partner Colleges.

A key element of the role will be to maintain and develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders (such as school and college contacts) and to develop and deliver a Schools and Colleges Liaison Plan for one of the University's Faculties.

The post-holder will also act as the account manager for over 30 schools and colleges in a key recruitment region for the University.

Under the leadership of the Student Recruitment and Outreach Manager, the role will involve delivering presentations to large audiences of students, parents, carers, and teachers, as well as organising events and outreach activities for school/ college students to gain an insight into life and studying at the University of South Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding communicator, who is passionate about the University of South Wales and attracting students to study here.

The post-holder will be based within a dynamic, fast-paced team and the role will involve working across a range of marketing functions, as well as line management responsibilities.

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to innovate and forge partnerships, have experience of delivering activities for young people, and be flexible and hard-working.

This position is based at Pontypridd Campus, University of South Wales, however the post-holder will be expected to work remotely and from the University's other campuses when required.

Please note that extensive travel is required as part of this role, and the post-holder will be required to work weekends and evenings.

Benefits on offer include 35 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays and closure days, family friendly policies and generous pension scheme.
