We are currently looking for a
Year1 Learning Support Assistant with SEN experience who can support a pupil with ASD on a 1:1 level in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Brent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have SEN and behaviour management experience.


As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for the 1:1 pupil.

They have a diagnosis of ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) therefore require someone who can set boundaries, build a trusting relationship and implement effective strategies to aid in academic and social development.


Your classroom responsibilities will include;
- managing behaviour effectively
- liaising with parents/carers
- monitoring progress through targets
- safeguarding/working alongside SENCo
- working alongside classroom teacher
- building nurturing attachments and fostering trust
