Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced
Healthcare Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and displaced hips.

He is Gastrostomy fed, requires oral suction, medication, and personal care. He is Non-verbal and non-mobile.

This young boy likes being entertained with lights, music, and a noisy busy environment. He loves being with people dislikes alone or quiet times. When he's at school he enjoys swimming.

You will be working 2:1

You need to be an experienced carer. It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent.
Training is paid for.

Pay Rates:

£13.

50 p/hr Monday - Friday:
-
£16.

05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday:
-
£19.05 p/hr Bank Holidays

Shifts:

Monday = 7am - 11am or 8:15am - 11:15am

Tuesday = 4pm - 8:30pm

Thursday = 8:15am - 11:15am

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts.

You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available.

Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

Full mileage paid from home to this location in SAMPFORD PEVERELL up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.

Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
