About the Business Operations Department

Business operations play a crucial role in supporting the wider business as a whole to ensure the continued success of our billion-pound company.

Business Operations areas include:
HR, Finance, Operations, Legal, Facilities.

Key Information
Start date: 1st July 2024

Length: 13-month FTC

Salary:
£20,000

Hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home)

As a Business Operations Intern, you'll be:

Joining a specific team within the Business Operations (i.e. HR, Finance, Operations, Legal or Facilities)
Taking on a role within the team, assigned to specific responsibilities and duties
Learning about your team and department and how they contribute to Softcat's success
Engaging and collaborating with other teams and departments to help maintain high levels of service to our customers
Building key skills such as organisation, time management and communication.
Collaborating with other interns on group projects

We'd love you to have or be

A current undergraduate University student studying in the UK/Ireland in your penultimate year, from any degree discipline
A passion for technology and/or entering the technology industry
Ability to develop and maintain relationships externally and internally
The ability to use your own initiative and work independently or as part of a team
A dedication to learning
Demonstrate an alignment to our Softcat values & culture
