Behaviour Support Worker - Wakefield, United Kingdom - Academic Appointments
Description
Academic Appointments, in partnership with a Wakefield alternative provision unit, are looking for talented, creative, and experienced Behaviour Support Worker for students who have been excluded from Mainstream school settings.
The Alternative Provision provides:
- full and part-time education and support for children and young people in KS3-KS4 who for a variety of reasons are unable to access mainstream education.
- The most prevalent category of need identified is Social emotional and mental health (SEMH).
Main duties include:
- Supporting teacher led learning
- 1:1 pupil support and group work
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant/BSW
- Cache level Teaching assistant
- Evidence of excellent behaviour management skills
- Team Teach positive behaviour management Level 2 preferred
