Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Ward Manager to work 37.5 hours per week based in Manchester, within the CAMHS Team.

The salary for this permanent Ward Manager job is up to £44,445 per annum.


Duties:


  • Lead an established ward team, playing a key role in the ongoing development of this Specialist Service at Cheadle Royal
  • Be responsible for the provision of high quality nursing care, ensuring safe staffing levels and delivering excellent management of the people in your team, ensuring they are supported, engaged and nurtured
  • Participate fully in the multidisciplinary team, with involvement in assessment, planning and evaluation of care but also undertaking direct patient care as required
  • Ensure that your ward complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards
  • Provide cover as Senior Nurse on Call as part of a rota

Requirements of the Ward Manager:


  • Be RMN Qualified (NMC registered), with essential experience in leading ward teams
  • Eager to support young people in being the best that they can be
  • A proactive, enthusiastic Ward Manager to lead this team and support the delivery of specialised care and treatment to the young people admitted to Meadows ward
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a patientfocussed approach and a commitment to delivering high quality care
  • Have experience of working with young people and experience of working in a PICU setting would be welcomed
  • Be double vaccinated against Covid19 and to provide evidence of this before you are able to commence employment with us, or provide a valid medical exemption
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
