Software Lead Engineer - Warwick - £ Highly Competitive DOE
A Software Lead Engineer is required for a successful innovation company at the forefront of green energy technology.

The successful applicant will lead a team of software engineers to design, maintain and test product control systems, in-line with systemdesign in SysML and legacy requirements.

Your team will deliver exceptional performance, through the design and implementation of Matlab/Simulink and highly optimised C.

As Software Lead Engineer - you will be required to

Provide day to day management of the software team, including prioritisation of workload.
Design and maintain the software control system inline with SysML models
Follow through issue resolution to update requirements, DFMEA, DVP and test cases as required.
Provide and present software status metrics to the senior management team
Generate validation plans from system requirements.
Provide test reports for MIL/HIL and machinebased testing of functionality
Maintain the build environment and versioncontrolled software elements in GIT

As Software Lead Engineer - you will have

Experience in using Model Based System Engineering and SYSML.
Experience in using Matlab Simulink in an embedded software environment
Knowledge of problemsolving methods e.g. 8D
Experience of developing complex software intensive systems, ideally for high integrity
Prior experience of team leadership
