The SEMH Teacher Role:

The SEMH Teacher:


To be eligible for this SEMH Teacher position, you must be a QTS SEMH Teacher with extensive experience working with pupils with SEN, especially SEMH needs.

You should be confident with managing challenging behaviour and building a good rapport with your pupils,ensuring you can de-escalate situations and approach pastoral support in a trauma-informed manner.


The School:


This Alternative Provision located in East Birmingham has a mixed intake of Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils who have left their mainstream schools due to challenging behaviour and SEN that means they have individual needs that cannot be met by their mainstream setting.

Facilities are excellent, and there is great support for students and staff from the leadership team.
