Management Accountant - Burton-on-Trent, United Kingdom - Trinity House Group
Description
Trinity House Group are working with an exciting new client. They are a rapidly growing PE backed company with £20m Ebitda based within Burton on Trent. They are looking for people who are eager to progress their own careers and grow with the company.
You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts amongst other reports and overseeing general accounting procedures and practices.
The role combines both financial and analytical skills to aid senior management with decision making andpromoting long term financial success for a business.
The role will work alongside the wider Finance team to prepare and produce management accounting reports.The Role:
- Delivery of the month end management accounts pack, including financial statements with insightful, commercially focused commentary and risks & opportunities analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation of key accounts along supporting the analytical review process
- Draft monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Board, banks, Civil Aviation Authority, and other external stakeholders
- Development and implementation of cost centre reporting to drive senior managers' understanding of their performance vs budget / forecast and support in the control of overhead spend
- Support the delivery of the Finance Transformation project, streamlining and automating processes to materially reduce time spent on routine tasks, thereby creating more time to focus on valuecreating opportunities
- Key contact for the delivery of the annual audit
- Preparation and filing of HMRC returns
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Post qualification experience gained
- Strong Excel skills
- Willing the challenge the status quo and looks to improve
- Attention to detail
