The Role
The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. Our team support 4 wonderful ladies who have complex support needs to live in their shared home.

The ladies enjoy a variety of activities from watching football & rugby to going to the theatre and cinema along with in-house activities such as arts and crafts, baking and sensory days.


As a Support Practitioner, you'll assist with all aspects of daily living, including going to appointments, personal care, meal preparation, finances and housework.

As three of the ladies we support use wheelchairs there will be aspects of moving and assisting, including the use of hoists.


About You


Don't have experience? Don't worry, we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you full training to learn the practical side of this role.


We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too

What we need you to bring: -

  • Good communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns


Our dedicated team provide 24 hour support with shifts usually falling into patterns between the hours of hours, waking nights, sleepovers and weekends.

Shifts may occasionally vary depending on the needs of the people we support and activities planned.


Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional
£87 for every sleepover you work.

Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 per waking night worked.
