Who you are:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Senior Photographer to join Cult Beauty's in house Photography Studio, in London Waterloo.

The Photography Studio team are responsible for delivering industry-leading Beauty imagery, with a focus on shooting still life product photography.

We are looking for a talented, Creative Photographer who can work with our Creative Photography Manager and wider Creative team to help shape the Photography direction at Cult Beauty.

You are highly skilled at capturing beautiful imagery, and well-versed at delivering end to end shoots - including setting up technical lighting and composition - through to styling products yourself, and product retouching.

The role requires flexibility, organisation, good communication and problem-solving skills, and above all the creative and technical ability and knowledge to fulfil a range of photographic briefs.

You will lead your own shoots with the support of the Creative Photography Manager, and also assist them on their briefs as needed.

What you'll be doing

Lighting set up, composition, colour accuracy, and exposure for each shoot to deliver photography (stills and animated gifs) of a high level, ensuring product is always showcased to its best.
Ability to style / arrange product yourself, including product textures watching.
You'll be leading your own shoot briefs and will support the Creative Photography Manager to develop and shoot larger campaigns.
Work with the Creative team to set photography standards and guidelines to support both the commercial and creative vision of Cult Beauty.
Take initiative to share new ideas and references, keeping up to date with industry trends.
You will help manage the shoot schedule and your daily workload with the support of the Creative Photography Manager. As a Photography team, you will be responsible for delivering priority shoots as briefed in by the Marketing team, who you'll work closely with.
You'll collaborate with the Projects Assistant, Brand Partnerships, and Buying teams to ensure samples are organised and ready for each shoot day.
Able to follow and contribute to creative shoot briefs.
Great attitude to collaboration and receiving feedback from peers. Ability to balance a commercial focus and understanding of our customer with a passion for creating beautifully elevated industryleading visuals.
Responsible for meeting deadlines and executing reactive / sometimes lastminute briefs, working well in a fastpaced retail environment.
Ensuring all studio equipment is maintained and in a good working order.
Work with the wider team to optimise process and ensure efficiencies in the studio.
Retouching of imagery where needed / setting up files to hand over to a retoucher and managing this process.
Ensure colour consistency between image and product and maintain file size specifications.
Work collaboratively with the wider Photography and Creative team to create and maintain a positive and fun working environment.
