About Our Client:

A new opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join a well known organisation based in Guildford.

  • To manage and develop your team members to enable successful delivery of agreed activity and targets.
  • To set targets for your team in agreement with the Head of Finance and manage your team for the successful achievement of these targets.
  • Develop suitable communications strategies with internal and external clients for your team to maximise their effectiveness in debt management and to achieve agreed targets.
  • Achieve agreed KPI's for you and your team with the Head of Finance that enable the monitoring of progress towards achieving agreed targets. To monitor and report on team performance by providing weekly/monthly KPI reports and other performance reporting as required, including Monthly Debtors targets
  • Drive continuous improvement to processes and highlight areas for concern or need for change with Head of Finance. Train team in any changes to process ensuring that documentation of these changes is up to date and agreed by audit committee.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Must have experience within a similar role
  • May be studying an accountancy qualification (AAT or ICM)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
