Introduction to the role of the team

Your role
***The role of Workshop Assistant provides support to both Fleet Maintenance and Management areas. A key part of this role will be managing the daily running and reporting of vehicle maintenance and scheduling programmes, ensuring that vehicle MOT's and services are correctly scheduled to remain legally compliant and that all administrative duties are carried out effectively and efficiently.

You will have excellent communication skills and be a team player. You will be motivated and a critical thinker with the ability to understand the needs of your customers.


What you will bring to the role

  • Good IT, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Flexible approach to work demands and teamworking
  • The ability to: respond independently to respond to unexpected problems and situations; and organise your own workload, deciding when and how to carry out the work for which you are responsible.
  • The ability to produce accurate data reports and information in a timely manner
