Workshop Fitter
Our client, based in Gosfield (CO9), is looking for a Workshop Fitter on a potentially temporary to permanent opportunity.

The role:


Main duties will include decking and glazing balconies, and produce finished products to a high standard and assemble various architectural products.

Workshop Fitter - Responsibilities

  • Decking Balconies
  • Glaze Balconies
  • Fit balustrade to Balconies
  • Manual handling
  • Organise parts for assembly and site
  • Assisting tradesman with materials

Experience Required:

  • Must be physically fit, as there is a lot of lifting involved in this job position
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Desired skills

  • Previous experience with metal work
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Gantry crane licence
Hours are 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 minute unpaid break
Pay rate up to £13.00 ph depending on experience.
