Reporting to the Building Services Manager, we are looking for a Concierge to join the team as someone who will help patients and their families navigate the hospital and its various departments, and providing them with directions and support.
The Opportunity
You will play a key part in keeping our hospital operational activities moving smoothly (which is a priority for us).
Once trained and competent as our concierge you will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for customers and your peers.

Your role will be varied, each day never the same, interacting with a wide range of people that will make your job very interesting.

The RoleYour role will be largely based around providing general assistance and welcome patients into the hospital.
As a Concierge in our hospital, the role holder will be required to provide a professional reception and back office service for patients: managing patient and internal queries in an efficient and timely manner.
The role holder will ensure a high standard of customer service at all times and work to facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of the services.
This includes, interacting with patients, consultants, medical secretaries and staff and other stakeholders in a professional and first class manner.
The role holder will put the patient first with a seamless journey through the front end of the hospital.
Taking all the steps necessary to ensure an exceptional patient journey from start to finish, the role holder will be expected to perform additional and ad hoc duties that may reasonably be asked of them.
The role holder will be required to comply with the policies and procedures in place, at all times, and champion the Nuffield Health brand and its values.
As an individual with experience in a similar role, or the right aptitude you will:
Excellent customer service
Driving License
Prior experience in a customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
