X1 Junior Marketing Executive - Graphic Design

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Marketing Executive with a passion for Graphic Design who can provide X1 Sales and Lettings with high quality design and written work including but not limited to; outdoor marketing campaigns, event collateral, online marketing graphics, marketing material and branding.

This is an extremely creative role that will require someone who is enthusiastic and invested in graphics and marketing.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can confidently provide creative content while coordinating and working within a close marketing team, as well as forming strong bonds with the wider business.

This role will be predominantly in our Manchester Media City office, however you will be expected to travel to Liverpool and Leeds to assist the teams from all cities.

What you'll do

Create consistent design work including but not limited to: event collateral, social media graphics, online and offline marketing material and brand creativity
Provide our Brand Ambassador with graphics for branded videos and photographs.
Assist with X1 events such as student celebration events and move in days
Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets, and produce work for each department on time to a high standard
Create compelling designs for print and digital that effectively communicate key messaging and have clear messages to attract our target audiences
Work with other members of the Marketing and Lettings teams such as on show flat dressing for our 'home of the week'
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

What you'll need

At least 2 years' experience within a Marketing/Graphic Design environment
Proven experience understanding and interpreting brand guidelines with creative flair
Excellent Canva or Adobe Creative Suite CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Dabbled in copywriting before? Great There's plenty of opportunity to wave your wordsmith wand in content output
Capable of video production and editing. We like to be as visually animated as possible with our content with video where possible
An exceptional eye for attention to detail, colour and consistency
An awareness of the market we are in so that you can easily adapt artwork to meet all needs. Experience of the property industry in a marketing capacity would be a bonus
A positive mindset, a 'can do' attitude and a desire to continually improve and innovate
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Portfolio of work to share prior to interview stage

Role:
Junior Marketing Executive / Graphic Designer

Location:
Manchester Media City with some travel to our other offices

Salary:
Starting salary of £20,320 - £25,000 per annum dependent on experience

Working hours:
Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm (with a lovely 4.30 finish on a Friday)
