This opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor is working for one of the best Construction New Homes Developers in the business.
You will be supplied with a company van and fuel card for business use. Salary on offer is between £35k and £40k witha 10% bonus scheme based on achieving targets. they also offer a choice of flexible benefits and enhanced family friendly policies.The company's bedroom furnishings division provide furnishing solutions that will fit in with their customers' homes perfectly. The team supplies and fits storage and bedroom furniture, from cutting edge styles to contemporary classics.
As Quality Assurance Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
- Taking charge of the Durham site where you will oversee a team in the North East and Scotland.
- Supervising a team including a Production Operative, 2 x Drivers based at the hub as well as managing a team of Bedroom Fitters in the Northeast and Scotland (5 currently) but will increase as required.
- Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to both on sites and in the Hub, including overseeing the completion of weekly reports.
It is envisaged that as the QA you will need to be at the Durham office on average 2-3 days per week with the remainder being out on sites auditing and supporting fitting teams.
In the first couple of months there will be frequent trips to the Leicester Head Office, and this will be on going for meetings and as required.
We are keen to speak to people about this Quality Assurance Supervisor opportunity who have the following skills and experience:- Proven management / supervisor experience.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety practices, particularly in a construction and warehouse environment.
- An understanding of quality assurance ideally from within the construction industry.
- Good IT knowledge.
- Excellent time keeping and time management skills.
- CSCS card is required, although this can be supported by the business.
