Location - Hackney

Rate of Pay - £70 - £85 per day

Specialism - Autism Spectrum Disorder


Protocol Education are currently working with a school based in Hackney who are looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant working to support and care for Autsim Spectrum Disorder students.


Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) schools follow a highly structured and intensive curriculum to support children with problems in social communication and interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests.

These schools and departments use variousbehavioural and educational interventions to support students with range of symptoms, skills, and levels of disability in functioning and aim to help them overcome social, behavioural, language and academic challenges.


This is a great opportunity to work closely with primary or secondary school students where you will recieve training and be responsible for the maintence of the academic and social development of all children.

You will be working closely with classroomteachers, parents, carers and professionals to create safe and nurturing school environment for students and impacting positive change in their daily lives.


What you need to apply:


  • An enhanced DSB check on the update service, if not then willing to get one done
  • Proof of the Rights to Work within the UK
  • Update CV covering the last 10 years including voluntary or employed work, education and unemployment
  • Due to the nature of this role any relevant qualifications or experience working with children or within a care provision is preferred but not essential
  • Desire to commit to creating and impacting positive change within SEND children Key stages 15 in their learning and social development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
