Job Purpose

The Head of Marketing is required to develop and lead the strategic marketing, digital and brand plans for KidZania London in line with the overall company objectives.


The role holder will be expected to:

  • Be a brand ambassador, leading in expanding revenue opportunities and focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for the KidZania experience.
  • Lead on internal and external communications including media responses and the management and development of the Company's website in line with improved accessibility standards.
  • Manage a small marketing team and work with individuals and teams across the company, to support effective engagement and brand awareness with the public.
  • Offer communications advice to the senior team and develop consistent external messages that are in line with the organisations strategy.
  • Be responsible for business and budget planning and delivery; and ensuring systems and processes are efficient and effective.
The jobholder will perform any other reasonable tasks, as requested by the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise and implement a clear, concise and commercially focused marketing strategy including clear compelling consumer propositions, managing the budget and working to the necessary critical path
  • Procure and manage all agencies that support in the delivery of the marketing strategy
  • Devise creative and innovative marketing plans by channel using research and insight, setting measurable campaign objectives
  • Manage and lead a small team to achieve the specific targets of the business
  • Manage the marketing budget to bring to fruition the strategy, ensuring all mediums deliver the relevant ROI
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and Industry Partnerships to drive ticket sales and additional marketing support through strategic partner relationships
  • Plan and implement promotion campaigns
