Tru Recruitment have an opportunity for a part time legal secretary to work for a partner in an established and reputable law firm walkable from New Street Station.
Ideally you will have knowledge of Litigation / Personal Injury / Medical Negligence, however will consider any legal secretarial background.
Duties and responsibilities as a part time Legal Secretary will include:
- Audio typing of letters and documents as dictated by the fee-earner.
- Providing assistance to clients.
- Collating electronic bundles of documents for Counsel and collating hearing and trial bundles.
- Arranging conferences.
- Downloading/Uploading medical records and sharing via OneDrive.
- Updating data bases and directories.
- Ensuring electronic case files are kept up to date.
- Opening new files.
- Closing files when matter is completed. Checking Nil balance with accounts, confirming destruction date with feeearner.
- Assisting with marketing related administration.

Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
