The role

As an Automotive Trimmer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll design, pattern, manufacture and alter all aspects of automotive interiors.

Day to day, you'll re-trim components in preparation for them to be fitted to the vehicles. You will work on panels and seats, gluing, cutting and working on specific patterns for each vehicle.

Produce automotive interior parts using various trim materials
Produce patterns for automotive interior trim
Stripping / retrimming automotive components
Alter OEM interior trim to facilitate additional fitted equipment

Essential experience of the Vehicle Trimmer:

Previous experience of vehicle interior trim work
Experience of using all types of upholstery adhesives
Experience of stripping and retrimming automotive interiors
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
