The role

As an Automotive Trimmer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll design, pattern, manufacture and alter all aspects of automotive interiors.

Day to day, you'll re-trim components in preparation for them to be fitted to the vehicles. You will work on panels and seats, gluing, cutting and working on specific patterns for each vehicle.

  • Produce automotive interior parts using various trim materials
  • Produce patterns for automotive interior trim
  • Stripping / retrimming automotive components
  • Alter OEM interior trim to facilitate additional fitted equipment

Essential experience of the Vehicle Trimmer:

  • Previous experience of vehicle interior trim work
  • Experience of using all types of upholstery adhesives
  • Experience of stripping and retrimming automotive interiors
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
This role is based onsite at Walsall
