Description
As a Production Operator you will be responsible for manufacturing Sub-Assemblies and test product.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture Lead Plug Assemblies
  • Manufacture and Test Case Assemblies
  • Solder fine wire onto Bobbin
  • Glue Bobbins into Cases
  • Wind Bobbins
  • Read and build from Drawings for Cables
  • Build and Manufacture SM/
  • Work to 5S principles

You will also be expected to:

  • Attend appropriate training as required.
  • Maintain all appropriate records.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with your colleagues.

Essential

  • Good Eyesight
  • Good Dexterity
  • Hand to eye coordination
  • High Class Solder skills with thin wire
  • Good Command of English
  • Spoken and Written
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to follow detailed Work Instructions


  • Use of Multimeters

  • Resistance Checks
  • Computer Skills
  • Use of Verniers
  • Use of Cable Cutting techniques
  • Understanding Measurement
  • Microns etc

Desirable:


  • Optical Inspection techniques
  • Use of Leak Testing Techniques
