Senior Bid and Tender Manager

My market-leading client is looking to secure the services of a Bid and Tender Manager to assist with critical project work over the coming months with a strong focus on GDS projects and must have a background in Defence.


Location:
London - (occasional travel but mostly remote)

Rate:
£650 - £850 per day
Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions)

Clearance:
Eligible for clearance, preferred active SC Cleared

IR35 Status:
Outside


Main Responsibilities:

  • Create/shape, take ownership of, and execute the whole bid strategy
  • You will be in charge of organising and providing explanations, interviews, presentations, and bids and proposals
  • Deliver highquality, consistent tender solutions within the specified periods
  • Developing win strategies
  • Managing risk and directing contract/commercial discussions to maximise profit
  • Agreeing on a strategic roadmap for bid and tender strategy moving forward
  • Helping the customer identify key strategic targets

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in bid management within defence and MODrelated frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of and prior experience with public sector procurement processes
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certified
