Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced theatre practitioner/ someone with the appropriate skills to join the Cardiac scrub team within the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

NHS Golden Jubilee has traditionally supported NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, both locally and nationally, and to provide high volume elective surgery.

This includes the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish Advanced Heart Failure Service and the National Organ Retrieval Service.

As an Associative Peri-operative Theatre practitioner, you will be part of a pioneering team of dynamic individuals, scrubbing/learning to scrub for the required Basic Cardiac procedures, as well as learning with support, Adult Congenital Procedures and all the Heart Failure Service entails e.g.

Heart Transplant, Mechanical Support Programme and any complicated Cardiology/extraction procedures.

We currently have 15 theatres, 4 of which are dedicated to Cardiac surgery.
