Role:
General Handyman/Woman

Hours: 25 hours per week. 5 Hours per day, flexibility on when you start

Ray Rate:
£13.27 per hour

Are you looking for a rewarding role? Come join our team as a Handyman/Woman to ensure the homes of vulnerable adults are secure and safe.

United Response is a lead national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Here at United Response we are looking to recruit a
Handyman/woman to join our team based in Brentry, Bristol. You would be required to work 5 days per week for 5 hours with the occasional weekend.

Your tasks would include:

Painting/decorating
Carpentry, e.g. making shelf units
Vehicle cleaning
Fortnightly tip runs to dispose of items broken by PWS
General gardening work such as; mowing the lawn and building garden structures
Maintaining safety of paths, ramps and walkways
Moving furniture, fixtures and fittings
Health and safety checks
Excellent and clear communication skills.
Have an extensive knowledge of health and safety and risk management
Previous experience of a maintenance or handy person role.
To be able to cope under noisy and stressful environments
An outstanding cando attitude and the desire to work as a member of our team.
Full UK drivers licence
